Shaun Whittinghill took an unofficial visit to Indiana yesterday for their season opening game against Indiana State. The Louisville (KY.) Moore senior talked about his trip.

Shaun Whittinghill was invited to the Indiana campus this weekend to see the Hoosiers’ season opener. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound defensive end was pleased with the Big 10 program.

“(Indiana) was really nice. It was a lot bigger than I expected. I liked the campus and the facilities a lot. The atmosphere was awesome,” Whittinghill said.

Whittinghill loved the campus and pointed out a couple of things that really stood out to him.

“(The weight room) was awesome. The atmosphere (stood out the most). We were seated right next to the student section. It was pretty cool. They were giving recruits high fives ad telling us we had to go to school there. It was cool,” he continued.

Whittinghill didn’t get to talk with the coaches, but he did talk to the Director of Recruiting Personnel. He plans to visit Louisville tomorrow when they take on the Miami Hurricanes.
