Hentges compiled 7 receptions for 93 yards, which was enough to break his high school's record of career receptions previously held by his uncle, Mike Hentges.
In the first clip, Hentges is attached to the line of scrimmage on the right and puts his blocking skills on full display. He takes his defender completely out of the play and completely out of the shot.
The second clip shows off Hentges' burst and athleticism, as he comes off the left edge as a defensive end and chases down the running back from the backside of the play for a loss.
The third reel shows off the speed that the future Crimson Tide tight end has tirelessly worked on in the offseason. He takes a screen pass and heads up field in a hurry, nearly scoring in traffic.
The fourth play of the highlight adds in another package to Hentges's game; strength. He doesn't go down easy and the 6-foot-5, 240 pounder carries a defender for five yards.
Here's a look at Hentges in action.
