Scout Live: Jordan Stevenson

Scout has a game breakdown, film, and photos of the Longhorns commit and South Oak Cliff four-star standout from Saturday's game action...

Prospect: Jordan Stevenson
Team: South Oak Cliff (TX) High
Opponent: Cedar Hill (TX) High

In the game Stevenson showed what made him such a highly recruited player.

He and his SOC teammates fell short 34-56 against the defending state champions, but that did not stop Stevenson from showing what he could do.

He took a a pass in the first quarter 13 yards to the house hurdling a Cedar Hill defender on his way to the end zone and had a couple of big runs, totaling 116 yards and  score in the game.

Stevenson took a shot to his knee, but proved his toughness by coming back for more.

He has some cat like quickness and his feet are very good. he runs with balance and can cut in and out of traffic dodging tackles, but he is also not afraid to run right at you.

Matter of fact, the one thing I would like to see him do less of is take so many shots, he is a tough player and fun to watch, so the less shots he takes now will help in the long run.

Texas is getting a good one in Stevenson.
