Messiah DeWeaver Feels the Michigan Love

Trotwood (OH) Trotwood-Madison High School signal caller Messiah DeWeaver is feeling the love from his future team, the Michigan Wolverines. DeWeaver joins offensive tackle Erik Swanson as the two 2016 verbal commitments at this time.

Messiah deWeaver is a three-star quarterback checking in at 6-foot-4, 200-pounds. The No 18 ranked player at his position for 2016 talked about feeling the love from Michigan.

"The team showing the most love would be the team I am committed to, Michigan," DeWeaver said. "Others, Penn State, Cincinnati, Louisville and Purdue. Michigan is, of course, my school of choice. Everything I was looking for in a school they had. They have great coaches, great atmosphere and great academics. They show me a lot of love, and they had a great win in week one."

DeWeaver also felt good about his week one performance.

"First game went well," DeWeaver said. "The ball came off my hand nicely. I had one passing touchdown and one rushing touchdown."
