Scout Live: J.F. Thomas

A look at the top performance that TCU wide receiver commit J.F. Thomas had on Saturday...

Prospect: J.F. Thomas
Team: South Oak Cliff (Texas) HS
Opponent: Cedar Hill (Texas) HS

Thomas had a huge night in the 56-34 loss. He was the key component of the Bears offense, whether they were throwing him the ball, using him as a decoy or running behind his blocking.

He was tested in the game by Tennessee cornerback commit Darrell Miller, and passed that test, racking up four catches for 108 yards and two touchdowns.

He looked about 6-foot-3, 175 pounds and possessed pretty much all of the skills you are looking for in a wide receiver prospect.

Size, length, speed, hands, leaping ability, and vertical playmaking skills are all attributes you can go ahead and check off the wide receiver recruit wish list when discussing Thomas.
