Plano West travels to Williams Stadium in Garland to face Sachse in a Friday night matchup of talented Lone Star State squads.
Each team enters the non-district matchup coming off a lopsided season-opening victory. Plano West thrashed Mesquite 44-7 last week, while Sachse traveled to Wylie and won 41-18.
Here's a look at FBS prospects who will be on display in Friday night's matchup:
PLANO WEST WOLVES (1-0)
Sotonye Jamabo, 2015 4-star RB -- "Soso" Jamabo is Scout's No. 2-ranked running back nationally in the 2015 class. Jamabo (pictured above) has an offer list in the teens that features many of the country's powerhouse programs. Jamabo has taken unofficial visits to several schools, including Notre Dame and UCLA. Baylor and Texas A&M are two in-state schools he mentioned while competing at The Opening.
McKinley Mitchell, 2016 4-star OLB -- the younger brother of standout athletes such as Mike Mitchell and Mickey Mitchell, "Kiwi" Mitchell has emerged as one of the country's top outside linebacker prospects in the 2016 class. Scout ranks Mitchell as the No. 5 outside linebacker and No. 57 overall recruit in his class. He holds offers from Arizona State, Baylor, Navy, SMU, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech.
SACHSE MUSTANGS (1-0)
Ben Moye, 2015 2-star C -- the 6-foot-3, 285-pound Moye committed in mid-June to Louisiana-Monroe.
Devin Duvernay, 2016 4-star WR -- Scout ranks the 5-foot-10, 175-pound Duvernay as the state's top receiver in the 2016 class. Duvernay holds 25 offers, the most recent of which came from Ohio State earlier this week.
Jared Mayden, 2016 4-star CB -- Mayden, a big-bodied corner at 6-foot, 190 pounds, tweeted earlier this week that he will miss Friday night's game. Over the summer, Mayden, who holds an offer list similar to Duvernay, named a top 10 of Baylor, Louisville, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Rice, TCU, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.
