Early Splash: 2019 Four-Star Wide Receiver Brieon Fuller

Brieon Fuller, a 6-foot-1, 175-pound wide receiver out of the 2019 class, has already done enough to get tagged as an early four-star prospect and Scout explains why..

Name: Brieon Fuller

Position: Wide Receiver

Height/Weight: 6-foot-1, 175 pounds

Location/School: Doral (Fla.) Academy Charter

Scholarship Offers: GeorgiaMiami (Fl)SyracuseWest VirginiaIowa StateKentucky and NC State.

Recruiting Scoop: Nearby Miami is the clear-cut leader, but Georgia, the first school to offer him, is heavily in the picture as well.

What makes Fuller that early can't-miss prospect?

There's a lot to like when breaking down Fuller's film. Fuller, who has since transferred to the Doral Academy, gets a good release off the line of scrimmage, and provides undeniable length and a large catch radius for a young receiver.

Fuller's length enables him to pluck the ball out of the sky and become a red zone threat, but he also flashes good body control and concentration when completing the catch. Fuller can really track the pigskin through the air, but needs to continue to work on getting vertical to high-point the ball.

You also have to take notice of Fuller's suddenness as a young prospect. This rising sophomore is fleet-footed, and does a good job of stopping on a dime to evade and shake off defenders. Fuller has to continue to get bigger and stronger over the next three years, but which freshmen don't?

Fuller, who will likely expand and double his offer sheet in the coming months, has lived out his childhood as a big-time supporter of the nearby Miami Hurricanes, so he's definitely one to monitor early on.
