Temple Mulling Over Offers

Being a profilic prospect from a profilic program certainly has a lot of advantages, but at the time can be a bit misleading. While much has been expected from Tony Temple on the recruiting front, there is only one focus on his mind.

So what is it that is on the mind of one of the nation's finest running backs?

"I'm just preparing for the season, and making sure I have a great senior season," Tony said. "Everybody seems to think I have a final list, but I'm not even sure who will be coming after me. I get all kinds of letters from LSU, but that doesn't mean I'm the guy they want at running back."

Many in the business would have to appreciate those comments from Temple. Often times, a story can be misleading on a prospect in the spring and summer time before colleges can even begin to place their weekly call and hold camp evaluations.

"Everyone always asks me to give them my list, but it is hard to when I really don't know the list myself. I'm naming a lot of schools now, but that will change when I'm ready to narrow it down."

Are there any schools that Tony knows will be on his final list?

"Missouri and Kansas State, of course, will be there as they've been on me the longest and I know the most about them. Michigan is still showing interest, but I don't know what is going on with the other backs they've taken. I have a lot of interest in Miami(FL) and USC, but they both have said they will be getting back to me. I'm also learning a lot more about Iowa, Notre Dame, and some other schools that have shown serious interest in me."

Missouri and Kansas State are the only schools to have offered Tony an official visit at this time, but he has not yet set anything up.
