South's 29th-Ranked Defensive End, Robert Porcher IV, Schedules Official Visit With Michigan

Robert Porcher IV, who remains all in with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, has scheduled an official visit with a school residing in familiar territory.

The son of a former Detroit Lions great has officially scheduled an official visit with Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines.

Robert Porcher IV, a Nebraska commit and the South's 29th-ranked defensive end hailing out of Orlando (Fla.) Dr. Phillips, says next weekend (Oct. 22) he'll be packing his bags and journeying up to Ann Arbor for his extended stay on Michigan's campus.

In fact, with Michigan currently in the midst of their bye week, linebackers and special teams coach Chris Partridge did his part and spent most of his Thursday swinging through schools throughout the Sunshine State, including Dr. Phillips.

"It's my hometown; I've always liked Michigan," Porcher told Scout. "They have an awesome program and show me a lot of love.

"The d-line is great as well."

Porcher, who's also tabbed as the 14th-ranked defensive end in Florida, officially visited the Cornhuskers on the weekend of Sept. 17.

"It's still the same," Porcher said when asked about his commitment. "Nothing has changed."

As always, stay tuned to Scout.
