Boston College was smart to get in early on Cheshire (Conn.) Academy's Brandon Sebastian, who has developed nicely as a senior. (Highlights are in the video player at the top of the page.)
So well, in fact, Scout shifted his projected position from receiver to cornerback, and he received a substantial bump in his ranking as well. Sebastian went from the No. 10 receiver in the East, and No. 127 nationally, to the No. 5 cornerback in the East and No. 45 nationally.
Sebastian said he plans on making official visits to Michigan and Boston College after his senior season. Also, Michigan defensive coordinator Don Brown is slated to see him play Saturday, Sebastian said.
On the field, Sebastian has been very good in run support. He has the size to jam at the line of scrimmage, the hip flexibility to turn and run down the field and he shows closing speed. He is quick in and out of breaks and he tracks the ball well.
