2018 Pass Catcher Cadarius Gaskin Scoops up Rutgers Offer, Names Leader

A leader has emerged in the recruitment of Cadarius Gaskin, a South Florida native and 6-foot-4, 205-pound wide receiver out of the 2018 class.

Talent-rich South Florida consistently attracts a plethora of colleges when it comes to replenishing rosters on the recruiting trail, and Rutgers is one school that's certainly made full use of their bye week by offering over a dozen prospects to start the week, with one being Cadarius Gaskin.

Gaskin, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound junior pass catcher out of Delray Beach (Fla.) Atlantic, is equipped with additional Power Five scholarship offers from NC State and West Virginia.

"Their offense is pretty good," Gaskin said when asked about the Scarlet Knights. "I like how they throw the ball and how their receivers are real good, so I'm very interested in them.

"I'm pretty sure I'd like to go visit. I feel like it's a good environment and cool atmosphere."

Schools can be shuffled around overnight when it comes to recruiting, especially when dealing with underclassmen, but there's one offer on the table that's currently soaking up Gaskin's full attention.

"My top school is West Virginia," Gaskin said. "That was always my favorite college football team growing up, so getting an offer from them was like a dream come true."

Gaskin has no visits planned at this time.

As always, stay tuned to Scout.
