South's 14th-Ranked Defensive Tackle, Jordon Scott, Backs off Pledge to the Florida Gators

Jordon Scott, who checks in as the fifth-ranked defensive tackle in Florida, is now back on the market after de-committing from the Florida Gators on Tuesday evening.

One of the South's premier defensive tackles is now open to all suitors after opting to detach himself from the Florida Gators' recruiting class on Tuesday evening. 

Jordon Scott, a 6-foot-1, 355-pound senior out of Largo (Fla.) Pinellas Park that's labeled as the South's 14th-ranked defensive tackle, had been committed to Jim McElwain's program since late May.

National Signing Day is roughly three months down the road, but Scott will have no shortage of suitors with claimed offers on the table from the likes of TennesseeMississippiWest VirginiaFlorida StateIndianaKentuckyMinnesota and Oregon State.
