Kamren Curl has a Comfortable Feeling about his Arkansas Commitment

Kamren Curl picked Arkansas during a press conference ceremony at Muskogee High School on Thursday.

Kamren Curl, a 6-foot-2, 176-pound three-star safety from Muskogee (Okla.) high picked the Arkansas Razorbacks during a press conference ceremony at the school.

He picked the Hogs hat over hats of Ole Miss, Oklahoma and TCU.

Curl cited comfort with the school as the main reasoning behind his decision, but he did not let that get fooled with location. He would have went to his Arkansas anywhere.

"If I feel home in in Alaska then I was going to Alaska," Curl joked.

"It was just being comfortable and everything. I know the coaches really well and I was comfortable with the coaches. They have a pretty good football team. When I went on the campus for a visit I really just felt comfortable with everything."

Curl is also looking forward to the opportunity of playing against Southeastern Conference competition.

"They play in the SEC," Curl said, "and the best college football is played there. I want to go play against the best so that I can be the best."

He has been sitting on the news about his commitment since the Razorbacks staff came through Muskogee for an in-home visit last week.

"I made my decision about a week ago when they came down for the in-home," Curl said. "We just finalized everything and made sure that I had a spot."

Curl will make his official visit to Arkansas this weekend.
