"The trip was great," said Thompson. "I had one of the best times on this official."
The coaching staff at Nebraska had never stopped with Thompson, even when he was committed to Boise State, and the coaches were one of the things that stood out to him.
"I love the coaches," said Thompson. "I was with Coach Dubs (Keith Williams), James Rodgers and Coach (Mike) Riley. And my host was Keyan Williams."
Thompson said that Nebraska's campus and forward thinking also caught his attention.
"I love how they were the trend setter for most of the training things," said Thompson. "The campus was really great and a nice size to stay focused but there is still a lot to do there. The facilities were top-notch."
With all five of his visits taken, it will be a busy week at his house with in-homes.
"That was my last official, I've taken all five of mine," said Thompson. "I have Washington State, Utah and Nebraska coming in this week for a home visit."
Thompson said he doesn't have a leader yet, but is still considering the five schools he's visited plus could still visit UCLA unofficially.
"I'm still considering UCLA, Nebraska, Oregon, Washington State, Boise State and Utah," said Thompson.
A decision may still be a week and a half away.
"I might commit on Signing Day, but as of right now, I'm not sure," said Thompson.
