The Weekend's Biggest Midlands Region Commitments:
With a big frame and the requisite natural pass-catching instincts, Octavius Evans is a high-major receiver prospect in the 2017 class. He has good height and length that suggests he can bulk up to a truly big outside receiver at the next level. Big catch radius and high-pointing ability make Evans a dangerous red-zone weapon.
Stiner's done a little bit of everything in high school. He's played deep safety, in the box, corner, and the nickel. Stiner is a long, lean safety who has above average frame potential because of the space he possesses to add good bulk. He can improve his tackling consistency, but he will occasionally provide the big hit. He has a good nose for the ball and coverage instincts.
Lott was a bit of a late bloomer on the recruiting trail as he was into his senior season before he started to blow up. The one time TCU pledge took a late January official visit to OU and liked what he saw in Norman. He is an athletic specimen at the position who really tracks ball carriers well and runs well in the open field. He fills a huge position of need for OU as it is switching from a 3-4 to a 4-3.
