The Opening Houston Finals Invites & Camp MVPs

HOUSTON, Texas -- The regional camp series for Nike kicked off with its first stop today and three Scout Top 300 members punched tickets to The Opening Finals in July and one player earned an invitation to the Elite 11 finals.

The Opening Invites

Cornerback Anthony Cook was the alpha of the camp.

He came in playing a very physical style from the start of the camp to the finish.

He was named the DB MVP and punched his ticket to The Opening.

He has great footwork and had Denver Broncos DB Chris Harris gushing over his skill set.

Receiver Brennan Eagles was the specimen of the camp.

He posted an amazing 3.99 shuttle.

He showed amazing footwork in the drills.

He has a big frame, speed and soft hands.

Had the rep of the camp in a battle versus Cook, where Eagles secured a terrific catch.

Jalen Green has an excellent day.

He was really good at the end of the day in the pressure cooker portion of the camp batting down a pass and securing an interception.

Like Cook, Green was very physical and has an excellent frame as he projects to college.

The Elite 11 Invites

Quarterback Tanner McKee came in from California, and earned the lone Elite 11 Finals invite.

He has an impressive frame and has good velocity on the intermediate routes.
