Last Friday, Buffalo became the first school to offer Detroit Catholic Central's 6-foot-7, 290-pound offensive tackle Nick Carey. By Monday, three more offers, Toledo, Kent State and Bowling Green had come through.
"It was unreal to have three offers come in 47 hours," he said. "I'm both humbled and honored to have these opportunities."
Of the three, the Rockets are the school he has had heard from the most.
"I've visited Toledo several times. I'm making my upcoming visit schedule soon and hope to make it out to all four."
"Many more schools have been talking to me, and it's picked up even more since my first offer. I'm planning on visiting many schools in the next few months," Carey said.
With his size and ability, there is little doubt the interest will continue to increase in this fast-rising Midwest prospect.
