It is a strong class for quarterbacks in the East Region, and the top one in Connecticut's 2018 class is Greenwich (Conn.) Brunswick's Nick Henkel. He grabbed early offers from Rutgers, Connecticut and Yale, and now is getting ready for junior days and spring visits. He has good size, mobility in getting out of the pocket and he is accurate. His arm strength is solid. He threw for nearly 2,800 yards and 34 touchdowns in 10 games as a junior.

Not many schools are on Harrison Caponiti, who plays at Brunswick, but look for that to change becaue of his size and versatility. Caponiti, who recently visited Wake Forest, is a tight end/h-back who can block on the line of scrimmage and also be effective in the passing game.

Defensive end Scott Murphy committed to Army last month and also hold a few FCS offers. He will have the chance to showcase his talent, and Army will have to make sure it hangs onto him as he plays for one of the top programs in the state..

West Hartford (Conn.) Kingswood-Oxford running back Ian Britt holds offers from Boston College, Princeton and Villanova. He already made visits to Boston College and Connecticut, where he will visit again soon, and Massachusetts. This downhill runner is best between the tackles. He is also setting up trips to Pittsburgh and Penn State.
