Jordan McFadden is one of the top 2018 prospects in South Carolina.
The Dorman standout's scholarship list continues to grow and North Carolina was the most recent school to offer.
"The offer means a lot and I like the school," said the 6-foot-5, 275-pound McFadden. "I've also been there a couple of times and I like the campus. I also like how the coaches treat everyone.
"(Wide receivers) coach (Gunter) Brewer is recruiting me and he's a very nice guy. He's let me know that they're very interested. And I've been talking to (offensive line) coach (Chris) Kapilovic for a while and we're developing a good relationship. He's also very nice and I like the way he coaches."
According to McFadden, Clemson and Virginia Tech are recruiting him hardest, and he gave a quick thought on each.
Clemson: "Since I was young, I've always liked Clemson," McFadden said. "They talk to me quite a bit and I've built good relationships with the coaches. I also like the facilities. I've been to a couple of games, too, and the atmosphere is great.
"(Offensive line) coach (Robbie) Caldwell is recruiting me. He treats me well and gives me advice on how I can become a better player."
Virginia Tech: "I also like them a lot. I actually went to one of their junior days a few weeks ago. I was able to talk to all the coaches and they had nothing but good things to say. My favorite part was going in the offensive line meeting room and watching film and learning more about their offense.
"(Tight ends) coach (James) Shibest and (offensive line) coach (Vance) Vice are recruiting me and I like both of them. They told me they really like me and want me to come to Virginia Tech. I'll definitely visit again."
When it comes to upcoming trips, McFadden plans to head to Duke and Wake Forest in the near future.
He hopes to narrow his list of schools in the summer and make his commitment sometime in the fall.
