The above video features video clips of 2019 four-star receiver Jordan Whittington from Cuero (Texas) High School at this past weekend's The Opening Houston regional camp at the Kinkaid School.
Whittington quickly emerged during the past few months as one of the top 2019 prospects in the state of Texas, garnering early offers from double-digit Power Five schools, including Ohio State, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and others.
Below are early evaluation notes from Scout national analyst Greg Powers:
Whittington does a bit of everything for his high school team and the jury may be a bit out on what he will be once he arrives in college, but whether he ends up on offense or defense he is a take. A true athlete who stars and dominates the smaller school level in Texas. He is an electric player when he has the ball in is hands on offense. He will at times line up as the Wildcat quarterback and he has the open-field running skill of a running back, but the size and skill of an elite outside receiver. - Greg Powers
