The Offers Are Stacking up in a Hurry for Big-Bodied 2018 Running Back, Deshaun Fenwick

Georgia is the latest school to dive into the mix with an offer for fast-rising 2018 Bradenton (Fla.) Braden River running back, Deshaun Fenwick.

A flurry of prospects at Bradenton (Fla.) Braden River are really starting to catch momentum and climb recruiting big boards now that National Signing Day is all wrapped up, with one being Deshaun Fenwick, a 6-foot-2.5, 208-pound ball carrier who's also poised for a nice recruiting bump in the near future.

The 2018 prospect was itching for any kind of college attention when Scout first met with him last spring, and now has offers on the table from the likes of GeorgiaSouth CarolinaIowa StateBoston College and Missouri.

"Well, I have really big dreams and going to the NFL is my dream," Fenwick said. "I know that I have to work hard to do it, so I put in the work and tried to put my team in the best place possible to win games.

"I just make as many plays as I can, and at the end of the season, college coaches took a look at me and I started getting recruited and offered. It feels so amazing to know that all your hard work has paid off.

"One chapter is complete in my story and dream, but there is still so much to come."

Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs are certainly no strangers to the Sunshine State, and opted to make a move and serve up a scholarship offer not even 24 hours ago.

The SEC program is also fresh off landing a commitment from Donovan Georges, one of the Sunshine State's premier inside linebackers for 2018.

"Georgia has produced some of the top talent over the last couple years," Fenwick said. "Their running backs are some of the best in football today in TG (Todd Gurley), (Nick) Chubb and (Sony) Michel.

"Georgia is a big-time school, and they're honestly going to be one of my options as far as college."

Fenwick has obviously done his homework in regards to a school's history with top-tier running backs, and South Carolina is another one of those suitors that checks off several boxes.

"I like South Carolina also," Fenwick said. "They produced one of my favorite backs in Marcus Lattimore. They have some really good coaches, and Steve Spurrier is the GOAT (greatest of all time)."

The recruiting process has certainly been a whirlwind experience up to this point, so Fenwick says he's not quite ready to label one school as the clear-cut leader heading into the spring.

"I really don't have a top school right now," Fenwick said. "There are schools that I really like and I'm not putting any of them over the other.

"I'm going to wait and see how spring goes, and then after spring I'll have a pretty good idea on what I'm going to do as far as school."

Fenwick says Missouri, Boston College, Georgia, South Carolina and Iowa State are currently recruiting him the hardest.

As always, stay tuned to Scout.
