No freshmen in Ohio hit the mark like Toledo Whitmer quarterback Riley Keller did last fall, and he was able to put up huge numbers while leading his team into the state playoffs.
Keller features a strong, accurate arm, and he also has great poise and pocket awareness. While he is a pocket passer, Keller has the athletic ability to make plays with his legs outside the pocket.
"There have been college coaches in the school to talk to my coach, and Pittsburgh has been by a few times," Keller stated. "Another school that is showing interest is Boston College, and they've been in the school. Ohio State got me their camp brochure for next summer, and I plan on going there."
"In two weeks, I will be going back to Michigan State for a spring practice," he added. "I was there for a game last year and really liked it a lot. I'm very interested in their program, and look forward to getting to know the school better."
"I haven't had much followup with Mississippi, but I'm obviously going to visit there at some point, possibly this summer," he continued. "I might be going to Pittsburgh in the spring for practice."
