2018 OT Dalton Tomlison Impressed With West Virginia Visit

One of the more underrated offensive linemen in Ohio for the class of 2018 is Eastern High School tackle Dalton Tomlison. He visited West Virginia last weekend, and came away impressed.

Last weekend, West Virginia hosted several recruits for unofficial visits, including one of Ohio's top offensive tackles, Dalton Tomlison. The Eastern High School product holds an offer from Iowa State

While Tomlison was not offered by the Mountaineer program, he was impressed by what he saw in Morgantown and remains high on the West Virginia program.

"They didn't offer me on the visit," Tomlison told Scout. "It was my first time meeting the new offensive line coach (Joe Wickline). He told me that he liked my film and that he will be in touch with me."

"I really like the program, because they have great facilities and a great coaching staff," he added. "I grew up around West Virginia football."

Several other top programs have been in contact with Tomlison, and he has more unofficial visits planned later this spring.

"Lately, I've heard from Rutgers, Cincinnati and Louisville," he explained. "I do have a visit upcoming with Louisville."

The offer from Iowa State came last fall, and Tomlison remains quite high on the Cyclone program.

"Iowa State is a great place," he admitted. "I went there for a game last year, and I absolutely love the campus and the coaching staff. The weight room there was amazing too."

"I plan on going back for a spring practice or game this year," Tomlison said.
