David Cutcliffe and Duke Secure Visit Date With 2018 Scout 300 Wide Receiver, Kevin Austin, Jr.

WINDERMERE, Fla. -- Scout 300 wide receiver Kevin Austin, Jr. lists five schools that are currently pressing the hardest for his coveted commitment.

Evaluation Notes:

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound Austin is a glider that not only utilizes his physical characteristics by high-pointing the ball and out-muscling smaller defensive backs, but also does a nice job of navigating after the catch. This is a big body that creates plenty of mismatches with his frame and playmaking ability.

Austin shows good field vision and does a great job of making strong cuts without placing his foot on the brake. He even lines up in the backfield to take handoffs as well, so there's no doubting his ability with the ball in his hands. You just have to love his ability to time his jump and extend out for the football over defenders, but shows some shiftiness to finish off the play as well.
