Prep Signal-Caller and 2019 Prospect, Raymond Woodie III, Doesn't Prefer a Certain Position on the Collegiate Level

WINDERMERE, Fla. -- Raymond Woodie III, a 2019 athlete hailing out of the Tampa Bay area, hopes to capture certain scholarship offers out of the SEC and Pac-12.

Evaluation Notes:

This dual-threat quarterback is a slippery type of athlete that can give defensive coordinators a headache in a hurry. Woodie does a good job of stopping on a dime and escaping once the pocket becomes congested, but keeps his eyes locked down the field in hopes of utilizing his arm first.

As appealing as his play is under center, Woodie will likely be strapping up the pads at a different position, likely cornerback, once his college career kicks into gear. He flashes that physicality when engaging the ball carrier, and also does a nice job of getting vertical to meet receivers at the ball.

Very intelligent and self-assured for a prospect of his age.
