Bobby Petrino and Louisville Are Holding Down the Top Spot for Robert Hicks, a Versatile Defender out of Miami-Dade

With a flurry of junior day visits locked in and scheduled, Robert Hicks says there's no change in regards to the school leading the way in his recruitment.

Evaluation Notes:

Hicks continues to pack on solid mass with his future likely at inside linebacker, but does a nice job of dropping his shoulder and getting underneath his opponent when busting off the edge. Hicks is a fairly good athlete that plays with discipline as well.

You also have to take notice of Hicks' use of hands and ability to disengage off blocks. He has a strong upper body and really holds his own when going toe-to-toe in the trenches as well, but overall pass coverage is an area of improvement heading into his senior year, and that's understandable after playing all of his prep career at defensive end.

This is a productive, versatile football player that can stand up or play with his hand in the dirt.
