Jaquan McMillian is one of the top 2019 prospects in North Carolina.
One of his most recent offers came from Louisville.
"The offer means a lot," said the 5-foot-10, 160-pound McMillian. "They're a great overall program. I'm going to either visit this summer or for a game next fall. I'm looking forward to seeing the atmosphere and learning more about the academics. I also want to meet the coaches and players.
"I've been in contact with (wide receivers) coach (Lonnie) Galloway. He's cool and straightforward. It's fun when we talk and I always enjoy the conversation."
According to the West Forsyth standout, Wake Forest is recruiting him hardest.
"It means a lot that they're showing so much interest," McMillian said. "It's close to my hometown, so I can visit and go to games a lot. They make me feel at home and I just feel real comfortable around the coaches and players. I'm going to visit again when they play Louisville in basketball on March 1.
"I like what they're doing with the program. The coaches are doing a great job and they're a team on the rise. (Wide receivers) coach (Kevin) Higgins is recruiting me and he's cool. We have a great relationship and he's said I'm one of their top targets. He also said I'd have a great chance to play early."
As for this summer, McMillian plans to camp at NC State, South Carolina and Virginia Tech.
