Joseph Boletepeli performed very well last fall.
Due to his efforts, he is approaching double-digit scholarship offers.
Louisville became the latest to offer earlier this week.
"Like all offers, it means a lot, and I'm very blessed," said the 6-foot-5, 245-pound Boletepeli. "I wasn't expecting it, but I'm definitely excited. Lamar Jackson is a phenomenal player, and they have a great program. They also produce a lot of great talent.
"(Wide receivers) coach (Lonnie) Galloway is the coach I've talked to and he's a cool guy. I like his personality and the way he approaches things. He's also from North Carolina, which is interesting. Hopefully, I'll get to visit soon."
His most recent visit was to NC State's junior day a few weeks ago.
"It was a great trip," Boletepeli said. "It was pretty cool because we got to sit down watch film of the defensive linemen and learn about the scheme they run. That was probably my favorite part. We also learned about the overall program. I spent a lot of time with (running backs) coach (Desmond) Kitchings and he told I belong at NC State and that it's a great program.
"Obviously (defensive line) coach (Ryan) Neilsen left, but I've talked to coach Kitchings and coach (Dave) Doeren since and they told me they're still going to recruit me hard. They want me to come back and meet the defensive line coach soon. So I'll definitely go visit again in the near future."
Besides Louisville and NC State, he plans to visit Miami in this spring.
He will likely narrow his list to three or four schools sometime this fall.
Boletepeli finished his junior season with 82 tackles, including 17 for loss and three sacks.
Update: Maryland offered yesterday.
