The Opening Orlando: Scout 300 Offensive Tackle, Cleveland Reed, Goes In-Depth on Top Three of Ohio State, Florida and North Carolina

DAVENPORT, Fla. -- Schools representing the SEC, ACC and Big Ten make up the top three for Scout 300 offensive lineman, Cleveland Reed, who's also waiting on a dream offer.

Evaluation Notes:

Reed does a nice job of holding his own and playing with a wide base, and flashes nimble feet when operating in both the pass and run. He pumps his feet and drives through his opponent until the whistle is blown as well. You also have to take notice of Reed's ability to sink his hips and play with good leverage in pass protection.

Reed, who will be moved to guard once Scout rearranges the 2018 rankings, has to continue to work on shedding bad weight and tightening up his frame moving forward. He flashes decent body control as well, but is at his best when operating in the run game.
