Wolverines get commitment from legacy DE Aidan Hutchinson

Dearborn (Mich.) Divine Child defensive end Aidan Hutchinson becomes commitment No. 3 for Michigan in the 2018 class.

Aidan Hutchinson visited quite a few colleges over the last year and change, but found his home nearby at Michigan and committed to the Wolverines on Tuesday after visiting campus and sitting down with head coach Jim Harbaugh.

His father Chris Hutchinson, despite having played at Michigan and been a captain there, helped Aidan keep an open mind through that visit schedule which included stops at some of the Wolverines' rivals like Michigan State, Ohio State and Notre Dame.

Hutchinson (6-5, 245 pounds) had 11 sacks and 68 tackles as a junior while helping his team win a Catholic League title and get to the state semi-finals.

He becomes the Wolverines' third 2018 commit, joining offensive lineman Emil Ekiyor Jr. and safety/viper Otis Reese.
