The Opening Orlando: In-State Central Florida Leads the Way for 6-foot-6 Pass Catcher, Justin McGriff

DAVENPORT, Fla. -- Tight end Justin McGriff is nowhere near the recruiting finish line, but says one school is currently sitting atop his list.

With a trio of offers on the table from IllinoisUCF and Toledo, 6-foot-6 Justin McGriff is an intriguing prospect that's played out his prep career at wide receiver, but will likely shift inside and play with his hand in the dirt once it's time to team up with one lucky college.

McGriff will have to continue to pack on weight and strengthen up his frame, but should expand nicely throughout his collegiate career. He is extremely long, and utilizes that length by extending out to snag the ball away from his body. You'll have to be patient, but McGriff does a nice job of not rounding off his routes and making himself available.

The Tampa native talks about his offers from the Illini and Knights, the school out front early on, and more in the video at the top of the page.
