Hamilton Southeastern's Madison Norris showed at Best of the Midwest that he is one of the top edge rushers in the region. Long and lanky, his quickness off the ball and overall athleticism makes him a tough matchup for offensive tackles.
Norris now holds ten offers. One of those was Purdue, the most recent school he visited.
"Purdue was great," he said. "I got to see all facilities, the locker room, coach meeting rooms, it was a great experience. The coaches treated me really well. The basketball game was great. It was a great visit."
Getting back to West Lafayette is one of Norris' priorities for spring along with seeing some other schools.
Indiana is one program Norris has familiarity with. He last visited them shortly before his Purdue visit.
"I went to Indiana before that. They're telling me that this is the school to be at and it's a great program to be a part of."
Norris says he has no timeline for a decision and no list of favorites yet, but the spring visits may help him get closer to knowing where he fits.
"Just see which schools want me most and which schools give me best education and best future."
