Southern visit swing for blue-chip 2019 OT

Edina (Minn.) sophomore offensive tackle Quinn Carroll, one of the Midwest's best, has three southern visits planned for spring and that may not be all.

In late November, Quinn Carroll, then just finishing his sophomore season at Edina High, received his first scholarship offer when Iowa State extended one his way. Fast-forward three months and a who's who of college football has joined the Cyclones.

Carroll (6-6, 290 pounds) has had a chance to visit many schools on that list, particularly the Big Ten schools which are a little easier to get to.

With spring approaching, he is now set to see schools a little further away.

Carroll's family reports visits to Alabama (3/30), Georgia (3/31) and Clemson (3/31). In addition, a visit to Miami (Fl) may be added and Notre Dame recently reached out as well.
