Scout Takes a Look at Junior Highlights of Five-Star OT Brey Walker

Scout takes a look at junior highlights of Oklahoma five-star offensive tackle commit Brey Walker from Southmoore (Okla.) High...

Player Profile: Brey Walker

(Highlights will AutoPlay above)

Evaluation Notes:

Walker is a prospect with a scary upside. Unusually big and strong at a young age he burst onto the national recruiting radar the second he walked through the gates at the Nike camp of his freshman season. He was as impressive physically at that time as anyone at the event. Fast forward one year and Walker has showed continued strides as a prospect. Setting the edge as a tackle he has the strength and foot quickness to set or hold the edge. He runs well and looks great carrying what is now likely over 300 pounds of weight. He has continued to show and develop a mean streak for finishing blocks and playing with a sustained level of aggression. He understands how to use his leverage to gain the upper hand.

2016: Walker moved to left tackle. Southmoore had a 6-5 record. Walker earned Scout All-Midlands ad Underclassman All-American honors.

2015: Walker started at right tackle and helped Southmoore to a 9-2 record earning second team All-State honors. He went undefeated in wrestling and was crowned the 6A State Champion.
