DB Kevin Brewer Now Up To Five Offers

One of the more impressive defensive back prospects in the state of Ohio is Bedford's Kevin Brewer, and his recruitment has picked up recently.

The 2018 defensive back position appears to be loaded in Ohio, with several players holding Power Five offers. Bedford cornerback Kevin Brewer has seen his offer list expand the past month.

Brewer, who can also play safety, has great cover skills and is also a sure tackler. He currently holds five offers.

"My first offer was from Iowa State, and since then I've been offered by ToledoKent StateBuffalo and Kentucky," Brewer stated. "The Kentucky offer was really exciting, being it was from the SEC."

"In speaking to (Kentucky assistant coach) Vince Marrow, he let me know how impressed he was with my film," he added. "Kentucky wants me to come for a visit, and that's something I definitely want to do."

"I'm also hearing from Pittsburgh and Michigan State, and I like both schools a lot," he continued. "I've visited both of them, and I'd love to have those offers. Everyone is recruiting me as a cornerback."

Brewer is in no hurry to end his recruitment, and is willing to stay patient and wait for more offers to come his way.

"I'm not in a rush at all to make a commitment," he explained. "I plan on taking my five visits next fall and deciding after my season ends."
