With six college scholarship offers to his credit, 2019 defensive end Steven Faucheux has the attention of college coaches across the country.
Playing for Lakota (OH) West, Faucheux is coming off an extremely impressive sophomore season. Although he currently plays defensive end, he could end up an inside player at the next level.
"Recruiting has gone great for me, and I'm open to every school that has offered me so far," Faucheux stated. "I still have a lot of time to find my school, so I'm in no hurry at all."
"I have a couple schools sticking out right now, but I need to look closer at majors offered and things like that," he added. "I have a visit upcoming to Indiana, and they have not offered yet."
"I'm still talking to Ohio State, and we are trying to get a date firmed up for me to visit," he continued. "I'm really hoping to get up there soon."
Faucheux has taken a few unofficial visits to date, and he has come away impressed with the schools he has seen.
"I was at Louisville last weekend, and it was amazing," he admitted. "They have offered, and they have a lot of upgrades coming in the next year. I really liked everything about their program."
"I was at Auburn a few weeks ago and that was really nice," Faucheux noted. "They are talking about offering, and they are going to be up this spring to watch me work out. I might go back for camp this summer."
Scout will continue to track Faucheux over the next two years, as we anticipate more offers will be coming his way.
