Several sophomores stood out last year in Ohio as top 2019 prospects, and one of the more impressive was Reynoldsburg linebacker Dezman Cooper.
Also starring on offense as a runningback, Cooper shows speed, athletic ability and he plays a very physical style of football.
Although he holds no offers to date, Cooper has started drawing attention from college coaches. He figures to be a multiple offer player at some point, because he has an impressive skill set.
"I am planning on visiting Michigan State on March 4, and they've been wanting me to come up to see the campus," Cooper stated. "They also want me to come back for their spring game, and I'd like to do that as well."
"I like Michigan State because they play in the Big Ten, and I love the way they play so hard," he added. "They're one of the best teams in the country."
"I am hearing from Ohio State, and Cincinnati, and I like both schools a lot," he explained. "My strength on the field is my intelligence, and I have the ability to read plays as they're happening out there."
