Oregon and UCLA Still Trying with Four-Star LB and USC Commit Raymond Scott

Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne linebacker Raymond Scott remains a solid commitment to USC but schools continue to come after him hard.

Raymond Scott is one of the top linebackers in the West region.

Scott is a quick, instinctive linebacker and plays very well in space. He's a natural athlete who is equally comfortable dropping and covering as he is playing the run. He can run and hit and projects as a weakside 'backer in college and should make a ton of plays.

We had a chance to watch Scott at the Pylon 7v7 tournament in Las Vegas over the weekend and he looked very good. The 7v7 game isn't always kind to linebackers but Scott fits in very well because of his athleticism and ability to run with tight ends and linebackers.

On the recruiting front, Scott has been a longtime commitment to USC, announcing for the Trojans back in April but schools are still coming after him. The Oregon Ducks and UCLA Bruins recently offered Scott and he said he's planning to visit Georgia in April as well.

To hear Scott talk about his commitment to the Trojans and the possibility of him taking other visits, check out the video above:
