Evaluation notes

Chance Amie is a talented athlete who could project as a dual-threat quarterback at the next level, the same position he plays for his high school team. Amie possesses a great frame (6-4, 200) for his position. He plays instinctively and makes plays with his arm and his legs. He flashes functional straight-line speed as a runner in zone-read situations and as a scrambler.

Amie shows the ability to throw on the run, especially running with his body to the right. He has enough arm strength to push the ball downfield vertically. He can improve his arm angle and release quickness, as well as his lateral mobility. That said, Amie is an impressive prospect with high production who competes in Texas high school Class 6A against stiff competition. -- Gabe Brooks
