The above video features junior season highlights of 2018 offensive tackle Connor Galvin.
Connor Galvin, 2018 OT, Katy (Texas)
- Height: 6-6
- Weight: 250
- Recruiting: Galvin already has more than a dozen FBS offers, including Power Five conference offers from Baylor, Texas Tech, Colorado, Duke, UCLA, Boston College, Indiana, and Minnesota.
Connor Galvin is an offensive tackle who possesses an elite frame for the position. Galvin must add bulk to improve overall strength and run-blocking ability, but there's very little doubt he will be able to do so. He possesses an outstanding frame, standing 6-foot-6 1/2 as only a high school sophomore. His height and length give him an almost limitless canvas to add ample mass as he develops and matures.
What makes Galvin such a high-ceiling prospect is his combination of frame potential and his impressive nimbleness for such a tall, long player. He moves well laterally and gets in good position, especially in pass-protection. Galvin's ceiling as a pass-blocker is extremely high. He has a ways to go physically, and his exceptional height sometimes prevents him from playing low enough, but he has physical potential that cannot be taught.
Galvin will be a Power Five conference-caliber, high-major offensive tackle prospect who could very well develop into the prototype left tackle. -- Gabe Brooks
