Evaluation notes

Jordon Austin is a big-bodied cornerback prospect who is ahead of the game for a 2018 prospect. Outstanding size with a great frame. True safety frame potential in a cornerback's body.

That said, possesses natural coverage skills and instincts that reflect that of a cornerback. Size and length help give him good jamming ability, but he can also turn and run with smaller receivers when needed. Smart player with a good football pedigree.

Potentially position-versatile in the secondary depending on where he winds up in college. A high-major cornerback prospect with good potential. -- Gabe Brooks
