2019 DE Noah Potter Impressed With Penn State

Penn State is off to a great start to their 2018 recruiting class, and the Nittany Lions are also looking ahead to the next class as well. They hosted top 2019 defensive end prospect Noah Potter last weekend.

Coming off an impressive sophomore season in Ohio, Mentor defensive end Noah Potter has established himself as one of the Midwest's top 2019 prospects.

Potter holds two offers, from Bowling Green and Toledo, and is drawing recruiting interest from several top programs.

He visited Penn State last week and came away impressed. Potter had previously visited Michigan and Ohio State

"I loved every second at Penn State," Potter stated. "The whole coaching staff treated me like family. I love Coach (James) Franklin, he's a great leader and has something going great there. Penn State said when I come back in the spring they're most likely gonna offer, so I'm very excited. "

"I don't know really how to compare the three, but Penn State was impressive because during the whole visit Coach Franklin was there and would describe everything and he was proud of that," he added. "He also said that the group that was there was the group that would help Penn State win a championship."

"All three are fantastic programs. All three have very prestigious histories," he continued. "I'm being recruited by (assistant coach) Terry Smith, and I'm just starting to develop a relationship with him and the other coaches."

Scout will continue to track Potter over the next two years, as we expect him to attract more offers.
