'19 DB Max Williams Talks Interest in LSU, Nebraska, Oregon, Oklahoma and USC

Although just a sophomore, Gardena (Calif.) Serra defensive back Max Williams has already established himself as one of the top lockdown cover corners in the West Region.

We've had a chance to watch Max Williams a ton over the last couple of years and he always impresses.

He's a pure cover corner with superior smarts, instincts and short area quickness. You won't find many players who compete harder than Williams, who always plays with a bit of a chip on his shoulder. He loves the challenge of going against another teams top receiver, no matter how big they are and usually comes out on top.

Last weekend, Williams performed very well at the Adidas 7v7 Tournament and the Under Armour All-American Camp. He was one of three underclassmen invited to the Future 50 following the UA Camp and is already among the top recruits in the region.

Williams most recent visit was to LSU and the Tigers made a very good impression on him. His most recent offers were from the Oregon Ducks and Utah Utes and he could visit both this summer. Nebraska is another school that could be in line for a visit and Oklahoma and USC are high on the list as well.
