Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian Academy cornerback Tyreke Johnson, the No. 2-rated cornerback in the 2018 class, said Florida, Georgia, LSU and UCLA are all standing out in his recruitment heading into the spring. He is planning to visit the Bruins next month to take in a spring practice and said UCLA would definitely receive one of his official visits during the season. Ohio State could also draw a trip in the coming months.
Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman tight end Brevin Jordan, the No. 1-rated tight end in the country, landed offers from Auburn and California in the last week and he said he would look into planning stops this spring. He's set to visit UCLA next Saturday and plans to swing by Michigan next month, with Miami also another likely destination.
Oakland (Calif.) Bishop O'dowd four-star safety Jevon Holland landed offers from Arizona State, Oregon State, Washington State, Notre Dame and Oregon in the last week and a half and said that USC and Washington could be offering soon. Holland visited UCLA last month and also visited USC that same weekend. He's also gotten over to visit local school Cal in the last few weeks.
No recruit had a bigger week that four-star outside linebacker Jack Lamb, who added offers from five Pac-12 programs in the span of a couple days. The versatile defender from Temecula (Calif.) Great Oak visited UCLA on Tuesday and said the local school made another big impression on him, but he's in no hurry to name any favorites. He hopes to visit Oregon and Washington next month.
Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman four-star quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson has been on quite the hot streak in recent weeks with offers from the likes of Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee. A big visit to longtime contender UCLA is scheduled for next Saturday and Thompson-Robinson said he's looking forward to reconnecting with new offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch, who was recruiting him at Michigan. The strong-armed prospect said he intends to take additional visits to Ann Arbor, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Long Beach (Calif.) Poly 2019 WR Keon Markham has three offers, from Arizona, Colorado andWashington State and he said he thinks a few more schools could be offering. Markham said he plans to visit the two local schools, USC and UCLA, this spring.
Calabasas (Calif.) linebacker Reggie Hughes is up to eight offers, from Boston College, BYU, Hawaii, Nebraska, Oregon State, San Jose State, UCLA and Washington State and he visited UCLA on Friday for an unofficial visit. Washington and Oregon are also watching Hughes closely.
Long Beach (Calif.) Poly 2019 safety Kejuan Markham has been offered by three schools as well, Washington State, Colorado and Arizona and he said that he and his twin brother Keon are likely a package deal and want to play together in college. Markham said he wants to get out to the two Los Angeles schools, UCLA and USC, during their spring practices.
