Jalen Chatman led one of the state's top teams last year and put up big numbers for the Gauchos.
Chatman threw for 3,926 yards and 52 touchdowns while completing almost 70% of his passes. He showed tremendous poise and leadership all season and always seemed to make the clutch play when the team needed it. He's a winner and a leader and the kind of player teammates will rally around.
Chatman has an offer from Southern Utah and just took a visit this past weekend along with UNLV while in town for the Pylon 7v7 tournament in Las Vegas. A few other schools showing interest include Arizona, New Mexico, San Jose State and Rutgers.
Chatman plans to be active on the summer camp circuit and he's a player we anticipate will see his stock rise a bit when schools can come out and see him over the spring.
