LB Edward Warinner "Excited" By WVU Offer

Ohio linebacker Edward Warinner has seen his offer list steadily increase over the past few months, and the three-star recruit added another big one recently in West Virginia.

One of the more technically sound football players in Ohio for the class of 2018 is Olentangy Liberty linebacker Edward Warinner, a three-star prospect.

A starter since his sophomore season for one of Ohio's top programs, the son of Minnesota offensive line coach Ed Warriner has put together an impressive offer list to date.

Warinner holds nearly 15 scholarship offers, and one of the more recent ones was from West Virginia

"I was really excited about getting the West Virginia offer.," Warinner stated. "WVU is a school that has had pretty good success recently, and historically too. I know that West Virginia and their fans are as passionate about football as it gets."

"Plus Coach (Tony) Gibson has a great reputation and is a great coach," he added. "I'm going to visit West Virginia either March 11th or 18th."

In addition to West Virginia, Warinner holds offers from the likes of Cincinnati, Rutgers, and several MAC schools.
