Recruiting: Could Ryan Hilinski some day join brother Tyler at Wazzu?

HE’S ONLY A sophomore but the last name will be familiar to Cougar fans. Ryan Hilinski, a 2019 QB prospect out of Lutheran High in Orange, Calif., and the younger brother of Washington State QB Tyler Hilinski, is already talking with Wazzu and area recruiter Ken Wilson.

We've been watching Ryan Hilinski throw the rock since he was in middle school and he always showed a lot of promise.

In fact, it's hard to remember sometimes that he's still just a sophomore and has two more years of H.S ball left. He's a mature kid, on and off the field with a college body right now. He's poised and has a strong arm and has continued to improve his consistency and accuracy on the deeper throws.

On the recruiting front, IndianaTexas Tech and Washington State are a few schools showing interest in Hilinski right now and he'll likely visit all three over the summer.

The California Golden BearsStanford Cardinal and Washington Huskies will likely get camp visits as well. Depending on who shows interest will also determine a few more spring/summer visits for the Hilinski
