Three-Star LB Christian LaValle Staying Patient With Recruiting Process

Mission Viejo (Calif.) linebacker Christian LaValle is one of the top defensive players in the state and is hoping for a nice bump in his recruitment as we head in to the Spring evaluation period.

Mission Viejo has been one of the perennial state powerhouse programs for some time now yet for reasons unknown, many of their players don't get recruited at the level their talent would dictate.

Last year it was all-everything linebacker/running back Colin Schooler who flew under the radar until Arizona jumped in late with an offer.

Although it's still early in the process, linebacker Christian LaValle looks like that guy who isn't getting the attention he deserves. LaValle is one of the top inside 'backers in the area and shows up very well on film. He's a tough, physical kid who plays angry and makes a ton of plays.

He can bend, shows good lateral mobility, is instinctive, hits like a truck and plays with a ton of passion and energy. He's a player we think can play for a lot of programs out West and beyond but so far, his recruitment has yet to get cranked up.

LaValle said he's currently hearing from Boston CollegeCincinnati and several Ivy League programs. He'll camp at  Stanford and Wake Forest and will likely visit a few schools back East as well.

To hear more from LaValle including what schools could potentially cause him to shut down his recruitment early with an offer, check out the video above:
