ACC Schools Pull Ahead for Rangy 2018 Defensive Back, Keidron Smith

DAVIE, Fla. -- With a flurry of additional schools on the verge of offering, three-star cornerback Keidron Smith says two suitors are starting to distance themselves from the rest of the pack.

In today's day-and-age of college football, coaches are looking for those defensive backs that pass the eye test with the prototypical size and length, and Keidron Smith is one of those young men that continues to check off several of the boxes with near double-digit Power Five offers to choose from.

Smith, a product of West Palm Beach (Fla.) Oxbridge Academy that measures in at roughly 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, is nowhere near the recruiting finish line with a boatload of additional offers expected to come in over the next several months, but is comfortable enough to dish out an early top two.

The three-star prospect breaks down the pair of schools out front, his skill set in the secondary, visit plans over the offseason, and much more in the video at the top of the page.

As always, stay tuned to Scout.
