The Opening Houston Finals Invites & Camp MVPs

FRISCO, Texas -- Scout takes a look at The Opening Invites and the position-by-position MVPs from The Opening Dallas regional camp stop.

The Opening Finals Invites

DE Cameron Latu

Latu made the trip down and it was well worth it as he made the Final Five and faced off against Brey Walker at the end of the camp. He is quick off the edge and strong. It is nor surprise to see he has a national offer list that is headlined by schools like AlabamaUSC, and Washington.

Caden Sterns

The LSU commit from Cibolo (Texas) Steele is known for his coverage skills at the safety position and he definitely was able to showcase that at the camp. he was also a top tester. He had 113.28 Nike+ Football Rating, highlighted by a 4.01 shuttle time that is amazing for a safety in long 6-foot-1, 192-pound frame. He seems 6'3.

Atanza Vongor

Vongor is an impressive-looking specimen and after standing out on the field at multiple positions he was able to show what makes him a top-rated defensive back target in his class. He is quick and compact and he will be a player who can make plays in all phases of the defense. Vongor's top three programs are BaylorTCU and Texas and he's announcing soon.

OT Brey Walker

Walker is a veteran of this camp and much like his first two showing he had a pretty dominant performance. He is perfect fit for the right tackle  spot as he is very strong. Once he gets his hands on you it is pretty much over. He is still not a finished product and that is scary for his potential upside. Oklahoma got a good one to start off its 2018 efforts.
